Privacy policy

1. Who we are

This website, adammusicproject.com, is operated by Astonish Entertainment, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), a Delaware limited liability company with its principal place of business in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Astonish Entertainment is the label behind the A.D.A.M. Music Project, also known as the ADAM Music Project and AMP.

For anything in this policy, including any request about your data:

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers adammusicproject.com and the forms on it.

It does not cover services we link out to, which have their own policies and their own relationship with you:

• the merch store at adammusicproject.store, which runs on its own platform;
• streaming and video services — Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, YouTube Music;
• social platforms — Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook;
• the sync catalog hosted on Disco;
• press sites we link to.

Clicking one of those links takes you to a company we don’t control. Nothing in this policy applies once you’re there.

3. What we collect, and why

3.1 What you give us

Every form on this site — the mailing list, tour alerts, press requests, sync licensing enquiries and booking enquiries — is powered by Artist Results. They appear on the home page, in the footer of every page, and on the Live, Press and Booking pages. Depending on the form, they ask for:

• first name (always)
• email address (always)
• last name (most forms)
• phone number (booking and sync enquiries only)

That is the whole list. We use it to send you the thing you asked for — new releases, tour dates, the press kit, the sync catalog — and to reply to you.

If you email us directly with the details of a show or a licensing project, we hold what you send us, for as long as we need it to answer you and do the work.

We don’t ask for, and don’t want, any sensitive personal information.

3.2 What is collected automatically

Google Analytics. Every page carries Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-96739CM3C1). It records which pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, what kind of device and browser you use, how you arrived, how far you scroll, and which outbound links you click. It sets cookies to tell one visit from another. It also records when someone submits one of our forms — the fact of it, not what was typed.

We use this to understand which songs, lyric pages and videos people actually read, and whether the site is working. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we have not enabled Google Signals or ad personalization. Confirm this stays true — if anyone later links the property to Google Ads, this sentence has to change.

Server logs. Our host records standard request information, including IP address, for security and to keep the site running.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The site itself sets no cookies of its own for tracking. What is set comes from the services embedded in the pages:

The site also uses your browser’s local storage for small conveniences — remembering a filter or a collapsed section. That stays on your device and never reaches us.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works; the tour widget and the signup forms may not.

Cookie consent banner — a decision to make. There is no consent banner on the site today. Analytics loads as soon as a page opens, before anyone has agreed to anything. (Fonts used to be part of this problem and are no longer — they’re self-hosted.) For US visitors that is generally fine. For visitors in the EU and UK it generally is not: those rules want consent before non-essential cookies are set. AMP has real reach outside the US — UK, Brazil, Mexico and Ireland press, and a Qatar Airways in-flight playlist — so this is a live question rather than a theoretical one. Three options, in rising order of effort: accept the risk; add a consent banner that holds analytics until the visitor agrees; or add a banner only for EU/UK visitors. Your lawyer’s call, and I can build whichever you pick.

5. Third parties embedded in our pages

These load as part of the site, so they can see your visit whether or not you interact with them:

• Google — Google Analytics, on every page. That is the only thing Google receives from this site. The typefaces are served from our own servers, so loading a page sends nothing to Google’s font service.
• Artist Results — the signup forms, in an embedded frame, on every page. Artist Results is a separate company under common ownership with Astonish Entertainment: the same people own both, but they are distinct businesses, and Artist Results serves other artists besides AMP. Your details go to Artist Results as our service provider, held under its own terms and privacy policy, and are not merged with anything else Astonish does. Confirm the exact legal entity name and the URL of the Artist Results privacy policy, so both can be named here.
• Bandsintown — the tour-dates widget on the Live page. If you use its RSVP or Follow buttons, you’re dealing with Bandsintown directly under their policy.

Videos are linked, not embedded — YouTube isn’t loaded and sets nothing unless you click through. All images on the site are served from our own host.

6. Electronic communications, email and text messages

By giving us your details you agree to hear from us electronically.

Email. We send new releases, tour dates and other updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately.

Text messages. Where you give us a phone number and agree to it, you may receive SMS or MMS from us — show alerts, replies to an enquiry, and occasional promotions. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

• Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
• Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 352-320-0089 — this number is on the current live policy and has not been verified. Confirm it is a working number that a person actually answers, and that it is the number registered to the SMS program. Carriers check this. If there is no such number, the SMS program needs one before it runs.

We do not sell or rent your phone number, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing.

7. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We share it only with the services that run the site on our behalf, each acting on our instructions:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our safety, or someone else’s.

8. How long we keep it

• Analytics: event and user data are retained for 14 months, then deleted by Google automatically.
• Mailing list and alerts: until you unsubscribe, or ask us to delete you.
• Booking, sync and press enquiries: for as long as we may reasonably need them for the working relationship, and then a reasonable period after. Your lawyer may want a stated number here — for example three years — rather than a judgment call.
• Server logs: for a short period, set by the host.

9. Your rights

Whoever and wherever you are, you can email admin@astonishentertainment.com and ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• stop emailing or texting you.

We’ll do it. There’s no charge, and you don’t have to give a reason.

If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Our lawful bases are your consent (marketing email and SMS), legitimate interests (running and securing the site, and understanding how it’s used), and taking steps at your request before entering a contract (booking and sync enquiries). You may complain to your national data protection authority. Confirm whether an EU/UK representative under Article 27 is needed. It depends on how deliberately you target those markets — press coverage alone usually isn’t enough, but an actual UK tour would be.

If you are in California, you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we’ve collected, ask us to delete it, ask us to correct it, and you will not be treated differently for asking. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. Confirm whether Astonish Entertainment meets the CCPA revenue or volume thresholds. If it doesn’t, this section is a courtesy rather than an obligation — worth keeping either way.

10. Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we’ll delete it.

Worth raising with your lawyer: a band writing about video game characters plausibly attracts an audience that skews younger than most rock acts. That doesn’t change the legal test — what matters is whether the site is directed at children, and this one isn’t — but it’s a reason to be sure the SMS program in particular never enrolls a minor.

11. Where your information goes

We’re based in the United States, and our service providers are largely US-based. If you’re outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where privacy laws differ from your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

12. Security

We use services that protect data in transit and at rest, and the site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll say so on the site.
