ADAM Music Project

Hard rock about the characters
we grew up losing to.

A rotating collective of singers and players led by Adam DeGraide and Dameon Aranda. Sixty-plus songs, one for every hero, villain and boss worth writing about — played dead seriously, even when the subject is a plumber's nemesis.

Out now

Get knocked down.
Get back up.

The explosive new album from Billboard‑charting AMP. High‑octane hard rock wired to retro gaming — scorching guitars, massive hooks, and anthems built out of the games that raised us. The title track is a Pitfall!‑fuelled banger about getting up again, and “Suck My Ship” is a full‑throttle tribute to a 1981 arcade cabinet. Serious playing, unserious subjects.

“Punch Out” featuring Aranda
charted on Billboard

The title track of the 2025 album climbed to No. 33 on the Mainstream Rock chart, carried by adds at more than thirty US rock stations. It has passed 756,000 plays on Spotify alone — the record that put a video-game rock band on the same chart as the bands they grew up on.

What AMP actually is

A collective, not a lineup

A.D.A.M. stands for Artists Developing Astonishing Music, and the name is the thesis: founded on the principle that collaboration breeds innovation, AMP casts a different voice for every character — because Bowser and Princess Peach should not sound like the same person. Adam DeGraide calls it “the ultimate fan art project”.

The character picks the singer

Nine lead vocalists and five lead guitarists rotate through the catalog. Each song is cast, not assigned — which is why a Revenant track screams and a Wattson track doesn't.

The music is played straight

Serious songs about unserious subjects, and serious songs about serious ones. Real melodies, real performances, no novelty-song wink. Knocked Down is about resilience; it just happens to be set in a jungle full of crocodiles.

Built at a steady pace

A new song roughly every five weeks, across retro rock, modern rock, metal, punk and the occasional ballad — whatever the character calls for.

AMP in costume

The rule

If the character is fun, the song is fun. If the character is grim, so are we.

Adam DeGraide plays three to five hours a day. That's the research. Everything after it — the writing, the casting, the production with Dameon Aranda — is treated like any other rock record that has to stand on its own with the console switched off.
